On July 13, Song Dechun, General Manager of MCC5, held a meeting at the MCC5 Building with Toromamatov Zhusubali, Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in China, to exchange views on advancing potential cooperation between the two sides.
Song Dechun welcomed Toromamatov Zhusubali and provided an overview of MCC5’s development. He noted that MCC5 is a leading state-owned construction enterprise with strong comprehensive capabilities, having participated in the construction of numerous landmark projects both in China and overseas. As a reliable and trusted partner, MCC5 has continued to pursue its international development strategy in recent years, expanding exchanges and cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road.
Song highlighted Kyrgyzstan’s strategic geographical location and open business environment, expressing the hope that both sides would strengthen communication and coordination in areas such as transportation infrastructure, energy, and industrial development. Through innovative and pragmatic cooperation, MCC5 aims to achieve mutual development while supporting Kyrgyzstan’s modernization efforts.
Toromamatov Zhusubali expressed his appreciation for Song Dechun’s warm reception and introduced Kyrgyzstan’s infrastructure development plans. He stated that Kyrgyzstan, located in the heart of Central Asia, is currently promoting the construction of key projects in sectors including highways, railways, and water conservancy. There is a strong demand for investment and participation from capable Chinese enterprises.
He noted that MCC5 possesses strong technical expertise and extensive engineering experience, which aligns well with Kyrgyzstan’s development needs. He welcomed MCC5’s continued engagement with projects in Kyrgyzstan and encouraged exploration of diversified cooperation models to contribute to industrial development and deeper collaboration between Kyrgyzstan and China across multiple fields.
Mukhtar Beketai, Commercial Officer of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in China, and Duan Lian from MCC5, among others, attended the meeting.
